My Story
Shorter is sweeter, right? So here is my story in a single take. I was born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia at the tail end of communism. It was a time of rationed food and long lines, but it was also a time when people used to be kinder to each other.
Then off I went to Seoul, South Korea for high school, managing to live there for four years without learning the language. It’s a shame. But at the time, I was a teenager attending an American school, and trying to learn one language proved to be hard enough for me.
Dallas, Texas, the Lone Star State is where I infamously flunked out of a semi-prestigious university. I think I ruined the Asian reputation by not being good at math. For the next decade, I roamed around the United States before finally finishing my degree, not in the States, but in Singapore. It’s accounting, by the way, my degree.
Now I work not as an accountant, shockingly, and live where I started from— Mongolia. This time around though, I’ve made it a home for myself. As tired and old as the saying is, life truly is a journey. And since you’re reading this, we’re voyaging together.
Personal Life
I’m married with two children. My daughter has a Youtube channel and lives on Discord: she’s about that age. My son has autism and he’s where my soul lives. Seven years old at the time of my writing this, he does not speak, not with words. In the photo, I’m with my husband and partner in life.
